The Food & Leadership Fellowship is a paid leadership development opportunity for young people ages 17 to 23 on the Urban Roots farm. Fellows build leadership and professional skills while growing thousands of pounds of fresh produce for the community. There will be TWO sessions of the FLF this year, one in fall and one in spring. The fall 2018 session will start in early October and last through mid December, and fellows will earn a stipend equivalent to $10 per hour. The application deadline is September 18, 2018. Communities In Schools is a non-profit social work agency that works in Central Texas area public schools. The Community Engagement Specialist will help educate the public about GEN programs, assist with the growth and expansion of multiple We Are Girls Conferences, and recruit, train, and manage We Are Girls Conference volunteers.

ASA is looking for a strategic thinking and highly organized individual responsible for executing the organization’s mission driven development events, implementing department donor strategies, and supervising department volunteers and interns.
The Special Events Coordinator also assists in other development efforts that will allow the agency to achieve its mission of providing quality care to persons with HIV and AIDS as well as prevention education to the Austin community.
