The Central Texas Food Bank is looking for a dynamic Development Operations Coordinator in our Mobilizing Communities Department. This position ensures accurate entry of constituent and gift data in the constituent databases, monitors upcoming grant deadlines, and provides administrative support to the Resource Development Team.

The Central Texas Food Bank is looking for a dynamic Development Operations Coordinator in our Mobilizing Communities Department. This position ensures accurate entry of constituent and gift data in the constituent databases, monitors upcoming grant deadlines, and provides administrative support to the Resource Development Team. 

As an active member of the Resource Development Team, this position is essential in maintaining up to date and accurate data across all donor types while keeping the department staff on track with shared goals. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and organization. As a Development Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Accurately enter constituent and gift data into the Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online adhering to data entry policies and procedures
  • Assisting the Grants Team in maintaining the grants calendar and tracking deadlines in Raiser’s Edge to ensure solicitation and reporting deadlines are met
  • Acknowledge and catalog incoming restricted gifts and provide internal gift summary reports
  • Oversee timely completion of matching gift requests and other financial request forms
  • Perform routine database maintenance and ensure data integrity in constituent databases
  • Prepare routine analytical reports, stewardship pieces, and mailing lists
  • Assist with prospect research and donor qualification
  • Assist with logistics for direct mail and online solicitations, including maintaining the communications and productions calendar
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Development Team by compiling the work plan, coordinating volunteer outings, completing purchase orders, reviewing expenses and other tasks as assigned

  • Demonstrated organization skills and the ability to attend to details and meet deadlines Ability to communicate in a professional manner using excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite including expert skills in Microsoft outlook and excel
  • Strong administrative, clerical, and data entry skills
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in response to change, coordinate multiple, shifting priorities, and adapt to and accommodate new methods and procedures
  • A fast learner motived to understand problems and help find solutions
  • Proven demonstration of good judgment and discretion
  • Willingness to work flexible hours—including occasional weeknights and weekends
  • A valid government-issued driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bonus points for experience with Raiser’s Edge NXT or another fundraising management software Customer service experience & interest in Development as a career path
