JOB DESCRIPTION: The Coalition Coordinator reports to the Director of Community Projects and is responsible for providing coalition support, membership management, and communications support of projects for Woollard Nichols & Associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coalition Support

  • Provide administrative support for coalitions, task forces and collaborations to include scheduling meetings and special events, taking meeting minutes, and conducting meeting preparation, coordination and follow-up
  • Assist with managing and coordinating grant processes and reports
  • Distribute and compile surveys

Membership Management

  • Membership outreach, management, and support
  • Keep membership databases up to date
  • Onboard new members

Communications

  • Create content and manage regular communication for WNA projects including website updates, newsletters, and email updates
  • Draft social media content for WNA projects
  • Compile communication materials and reports

Other Duties as Assigned

JOB CRITERIA:

  • Required Education: Undergraduate degree or experience in coalition or association management
  • Required Skills:
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Organization and attention to detail
    • Excellent and effective communication skills (oral, written, listening)
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Experience with website management and editing (i.e. WordPress, Drupal, etc.)
    • Demonstrated ability to juggle different tasks/projects concurrently
    • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
    • Adaptable to change
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with mail distribution systems and compiling newsletters (e.g. Mailchimp)
    • Graphic design skills
    • Social media management skills
    • Experience taking meeting minutes
    • Interest in health and human service sector work
  • Job Type: 40 hours/week
  • Hours: Regular Monday-Friday business hours with some flexibility and very occasional nights or weekends
  • Compensation: $35,000-$38,000, depending on experience
  • Benefits: Healthcare premium assistance and paid leave
